Utensil Aluminum Scrap

Utensil Aluminum shall consist of aluminum sheet and sheet utensils including cooking pots, must be free of iron & foreign materials

Aluminum Turnings

Aluminum Turnings shall consist of clean aluminum turnings, borings or grindings

Aluminum Extrusion Scrap

Aluminum Extrusion Scrap shall consist of clean aluminum profile extrusions including window & door frames
Must be free of iron inserts, screws and plastic, rubber or other foreign materials.

Low Copper Aluminum Scrap

Low Copper Aluminum Scrap shall consist of clean, uncoated aluminum plate, may include clips or punchings
ISRI grade TABOO may be included in this grade.

Aluminum Lithograph Sheet Scrap

Litho Sheets shall consist of clean aluminum lithograph sheets (plates), may contain 1100 or 3003 alloys.
Must be free of paper, plastic and excessive foreign materials such as ink.
Equivalent to ISRI code TABLOID.

Cast Aluminum Scrap

Cast Aluminum shall consist of clean aluminum castings.
Equivalent to ISRI code TENSE.

Clean Painted Aluminum Scrap

Clean Painted Aluminum shall consist of clean aluminum siding scrap and must be free of insulating materials
Equivalent to ISRI code TALE

Painted Aluminum Insulated Scrap

Painted Aluminum (Insulated) shall consist of insulated, painted aluminum siding.

Coated Aluminum Scrap

Coated Aluminum shall consist of plastic/vinyl coated aluminum, may include venetian blinds

Used Beverage Cans (UBC loose)

Loose whole or flattened aluminum beverage cans, free from excessive dirt, liquid or other foreign materials. Equivalent to ISRI code TALAP or former code TALC.

Shredded UBC

Shredded UBC shall consist of aluminum Used Beverage Cans that have been magnetically separated and shredded into uniform material handleable (pneumatic) state.
the shredded UBC shall have a minimum density of 12 LBS. (pounds) per cubic foot and a maximum weight density of 17 LBS. per cubic foot.
Must be fee of excessive fine material under 4 mesh in size.
must be free of other metals and foreign material.
Equivalent to ISRI code TALCRED.

Baled UBC

Baled UBC shall consist of magnetically separated Used Beverage Cans that have been compressed into bales.
Baled densities must be a minimum of 14 LBS. per cubic foot .
Bale dimensions can range from 24" to 40" x 30" to 52" x 40" to 84"
ISRI code TALDON shall be included in this grade

Briquetted UBC

Magnetically separated aluminum Used Beverage Cans compressed into briquettes with a minimum weight density of 50 lbs. per cubic foot.
Briquettes sizes should be uniform and range from 12" to 24" x 12" to 24" x 8" to 48".
Briquettes should be stacked and banded together to form uniform bundles with a maximum height of 48" and a maximum weight of 4,000 lb. This Grade is Similar to ISRI code TALDORK.

New Beverage Can Stock Scrap

New Beverage Can Stock Scrap shall consist of new clean pre-consumer aluminum can stock (printed or unprinted) and may include clips or punching skeletons, & cans in various states of production but may not include whole cans from packaging lines.
Equivalent to ISRI code TAKE.

Remelt Aluminum Ingot

Remelt Aluminum Ingot shall consist of remelted aluminum scrap from a sweat furnace operation & poured into a uniform pigs or ingot blocks with a minimum weight of 25 lb., and a maximum weight of 75 lbs.
Must be free of slag or dross materials and prepared in a uniform material handleable form.
Similar to ISRI code THROB.

Remelt Aluminum Sows

Remelt Aluminum Sows shall consist of remelted aluminum scrap from a sweat furnace operation & poured into a uniform slabs or sow blocks with a minimum weight of 500 lb., and a maximum weight of 2,200 lbs.
Must be free of slag or dross materials an prepared in a uniform material handleable form.
Similar to ISRI code THROB.

Mixed Irony Aluminum Scrap

Mixed Irony Aluminum shall consist of assorted scrap aluminum contaminated with Iron, the aluminum content must be a minimum 70% and iron may not exceed 30%
Must be free of excessive plastics, oils and other materials prohibitive in the sweat furnace operation.

Low Grade Irony Aluminum Scrap

Low Grade Irony Aluminum shall consist of assorted scrap aluminum contaminated with Iron, the aluminum content must be a minimum 50% and iron may not exceed 50%
Must be free of excessive plastics, oils and other materials prohibitive in the sweat furnace operation.

Scrap Auto Transmissions

Assorted automotive transmissions, free of torque converters.

Scrap Aluminum Auto Rads

Aluminum Auto Rads shall consist of scrap aluminum automotive radiators, free from iron,
May not contain copper/brass tubing.

Insulated Aluminum Wire Scrap

Insulated Aluminum Wire shall include plastic insulated aluminum wire, must be free of iron.
ISRI code TWANG may be included in this grade.

Aluminum ACSR Cable Scrap

Supported Aluminum Cables shall include multi strand heavy gauge aluminum wire twisted around a single stand of steel wire. (Aluminium Conductors Steel Reinforced)

Bare Aluminum Wire Scrap

Bare Aluminum Wire shall consist of clean aluminum wire free of iron or insulation.
ISRI code Tassel, Taste, Talon and Tann may be included in this grade.

Aluminum Auto Wheel Scrap

Clean, uncoated aluminum auto wheels of 356 alloy. Free from dirt, oil, and grease. Steel, valve stems and wheel weights have to be removed.

Aluminum Nodules

Aluminum Nodules shall consist of clean aluminum wire recovered from a chopping operation and must be free of iron, copper & brass wire, aluminum hair wires and free of dirt, oil and foreign materials
Equivalent to ISRI code TALL.

Alumifoil Scrap

Alumifoil shall consist of clean, unalloyed aluminum foil and must be free of paper, plastics, food residues and other foreign materials.
ISRI code TERSE and TESTY may be included in this grade.

Paperbacked Alumifoil Waste

Paperbacked Alumifoil shall consist of aluminum foil laminated to paper or plastic
may not include vacuum metalized films.

Aluminum Dross

Aluminum Dross shall consist of slags, drosses, skimmings and spilling from aluminum melting operations.
ISRI code THRIL may be included in this grade.

Aluminum Auto Fragments

Mixed Auto Fragments shall consist of sorted auto shredder fragments that have been magnetically separated to remove the majority of iron and steel and a secondary seperation has been performed (such as eddy current or spacific gravity classification) to consolidate the non-ferrous metals content. The content shall be a minimum of 50% aluminum and a minimum of 80% total non-ferous metals unless otherwise stated. ISRI grade Zorba may be included in this material.

Aluminum Scrap

Other Aluminum Scrap shall consist of aluminum scrap that is not included in the other listed grades.
